Alphabet Lab
Where typography begins with almost nothing.
Instead of drawing letters from scratch, you start with four simple shapes. These shapes form a flexible grid — a system you can adjust, stretch, compress, and rearrange. By changing scale, spacing, and rhythm, new letterforms slowly emerge.
There is no need for prior design experience. The platform is built to be intuitive: you experiment, you observe, and you refine. What might feel like play at first gradually reveals how type is structured — how repetition creates consistency, how variation creates character.
Alphabet Lab is not just a tool, but a process. It invites you to think less about designing perfect forms, and more about exploring relationships within a system.
Every alphabet you create is both yours and not entirely yours. It is shaped by your decisions, but also by the rules of the system itself.
Start with the simplest elements. See how far they can go.
